The Institute is for:

Industry – Arts, Media, and Entertainment professionals who want to network with AME teachers in the schools

Administrators – District, school, and county offices

Teachers – CTE and Arts teachers who teach within a CTE AME, Fine Arts, or STEAM program

Teachers – Any teacher interested in building an AME program 

Counselors – Any counselor who has an AME program in their school

2017 Workshop Breakouts:

  • 8 Model Demonstration Site Sessions Featuring Various AME Pathway Designs

  • 12 Job-Alike Breakout Sessions Featuring Theatre, Dance, Music, Animation, Media/Film, Media/Graphic, Media/Photo, Music Recording, Technical Theatre, TV Broadcasting, Visual Art, and Game Design

  • 14 Pathway Specific Workshops Featuring Hands-On Interactive Sessions

  • 4 CTE Informational Breakouts-Credentialing, Career Curriculum, Industry Connections, CA Film Commission

  • 4 Sessions Featuring Panels of Industry Professionals
